2016 Fall & Winter Holiday Release - Part Two: Halloween for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

"For my give away press here"!

Goodmorning lovelies,
You are here on the last day of the Halloween part two release and I am very glad you have been with us all these day's. Don't you just love all the new dies? Well I do! I had so much fun creating this card "yep" sorry it's a card again as I told you the last time I was planning on creating a layout. But I have to admit I struggled with these dies because here in The Netherlands we don't celebrate Halloween that much and I have a son that hates to dress up. So I don't have any pictures of him that I can scrap...

BOO I dig you:

For this card I used all Maja Design papers and for once it's kind of clean & simple for me as I attend to always distress and stitch my papers and use all sorts of flowers on my work. I did not do that here at all {I don't want to brag but I am kind of proud of myself ;-) }
There are fourteen new fun Halloween themed die sets to choose from and more other themed die sets in the next following day's!
https://www.cheerylynndesigns.com/new-releases/
I have to tell you I really love these Monster Kid ones so I had to create with one of those sets! They are really detailed as you can see and you can layer them as you prefer.
The text on my card came form two different die sets the B840 - Fun with Frankenstein {NEW} and the B852 - Halloween Ghost {NEW} so you see that they can easily be used together as most of Cheery Lynn Design dies can be!

Love This! First Layout for ***The Dusty Attic***

"For my give away press here"!

Goodmorning everyone.
I am so excited to show you my first layout that I made for this wonderful design team.
Did you see this months gorgeous mood board? My layout was inspired by the colors in that very same board. I also really like the phrase that was used in it so I incorporated that in my layout as well. For my layout I used all Maja Design papers and Petaloo flowers but also some of the amazing acrylic paints that Dusty Attic offers...I am a hugh addict on the rust paste's by Finnabair so I used them on all my chipboard pieces on this layout.

Love This:
To compliment the chipboard pieces I used here, I added some of the newer mechanicals metal embellishments mostly the hearts. The picture I used is on made back in 2010 during our vacation in Spain made by our son Kevin. Here I'll show you the mood board isn't it pretty.

Also I used some of the amazing stencils Dusty Attic has on this layout I used the Mini Heart Stencil and the Creative Script with the paste. I still feel like I am in seventh heaven being on this team. This is such a amazing mood board to be inspired by hopefully you are going to enter the challenge too.

I always print out my text on my computer on a piece of normal paper and later on I print it on the patterned piece of paper and then you can layer it on another paper like what I did here. Don't you just love the new tabs?

The Dusty Attic products used:
Mini Tabs #2 - DA1463
Mini Words #1 - DA0386
Creative Script Stencil - DA1494
Mini Heart Stencil - DA1472

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!
I want to wish you a wonderful & sunny weekend lots of love.....

Just Because Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

"For my give away press here"!

Goodmorning everyone,
Do you ever think "what can do with my leftover scraps?" Well I do! Normally I always give my leftover scraps to my neighbor who always makes the most lovely cards with them. But since I am making more cards at the moment I kept some of the scraps this time and made this card. The card is made with two Maja Design collections called "Life in the Country" and the newest collection "Summertime" which is a real must have collection.

Just Because:
I placed all the layers {all ripped pieces of leftovers} on top of each other and didn't stick it all together just jet then I cut out some cute little doilies and tucked them underneath the pieces to glue it all together afterwards. The flowers are all made with the newer collections as the ripped parts are the older collection don't they just look amazing together?

I think this is the first time that I used just plain {white} card stock on my work! The doilies are cute out of it to make my card a little more "fresh"that was the intention. I just love making flowers centers out of metal or diamond gems because they give just enough of a sparkle not to much which I don't like.

Amazing Summertime Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

"For my give away press here"!

Goodmorning lovelies,
There are some pretty amazing changes on the Cheery Lynn Designs design team! We now have new dies every month and a blog hop to introduce the new dies. And we are pretty glad that you are following us in this wonderful process so please keep doing so. With that being said I would like to show you a card I made {lately I can't find the time to make layout's but that will come after the summer time} speaking of summertime this card was made with that NEW collection by Maja Design a surprise if you visit my blog you could win that collection.

Amazing Summertime:

Behind the Quatrefoil I placed a piece of transparante sheet to make my card see through that gives such a nice effect and it looks like your card has much dimension. I am in need of that vacation break so badly I just need to work for another month {why does that sound so long} this card makes my heart sing.....

Yesterday I have been making flowers all day to use on my cards and layouts in the next coming months. I am totally hooked so when I am off work later today I will keep going which me luck. On the picture below you can see how it looks with the see through part. Hopefully you are not getting nuts of me using that collection.

Happy Happy Happy NEWS NEW DT......

Hi lovelies,
I am extremely happy to say the least.....in beginning of December 2015 a dream came true for me. I only just got myself a DT spot at "Creative Embellishments" which I thought was pretty amazing too and I found it my obligation to use that DT spot correctly and wait until my term was over to leave.
Now my term at "Creative Embellishments"is over and I enjoyed every inch of it.....thanks everyone on this wonderful team to make it a memorable time.
But now my super happy news....yeahhhh!
On the 5th of December the day we celebrate "Sinterklaas" here in The Netherlands, I got a PM on Facebook from the lovely Jennifer Mahoney Hedger owner of the amazing Dusty Attic....and I was totally flabbergasted that she even considered to have me on the team WOW.
I told her that I just got a DT spot for another chipboard manufacturer then she said why don't you just come in July then?? If you want too and of course I said yes.....I had to pinch myself like a million times little old me designing for Dusty Attic.
DREAMS do come true!
The last six months I did not miss a thing at the Dusty Attic blog because I was added to the Facebook group in December so I could keep in touch with all the lovely ladies on the team.
Two weeks back I got my first DT box and let me tell you it was so much fun to open it! I was just oeing and aaing and my hubby & son were just laughing because of me doing so.
You will see my work on the 22nd of each month on the blog here

I can't wait to get my hands dirty, oh well I already started creating....lol
Thanks for visiting my blog today and have a lovely upcoming weekend xox
