Just Because Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

"For my give away press here"!

Goodmorning everyone,
Do you ever think "what can do with my leftover scraps?" Well I do! Normally I always give my leftover scraps to my neighbor who always makes the most lovely cards with them. But since I am making more cards at the moment I kept some of the scraps this time and made this card. The card is made with two Maja Design collections called "Life in the Country" and the newest collection "Summertime" which is a real must have collection.

Just Because:
I placed all the layers {all ripped pieces of leftovers} on top of each other and didn't stick it all together just jet then I cut out some cute little doilies and tucked them underneath the pieces to glue it all together afterwards. The flowers are all made with the newer collections as the ripped parts are the older collection don't they just look amazing together?

I think this is the first time that I used just plain {white} card stock on my work! The doilies are cute out of it to make my card a little more "fresh"that was the intention. I just love making flowers centers out of metal or diamond gems because they give just enough of a sparkle not to much which I don't like.

  1. Hai Amy,
Dat zou je toch niet zeggen dat dit een kaart is met restjes. Zo mooi. En wat een prachtig papier is het. Zeker een must have.

  2. This is lovely. I try and make cards from scraps too, but I am no where near as good at it as you. I like the idea of tucking the doilies between layers of torn paper - might use that on a scrapbook page.
