Smile Crad for ***Craft Addiction*** and ***Cheery Lynn Designs***!

Goodmorning lovelies,
Flowers, flowers, flowers, who doesn't love flowers? Well I am a huge sucker for flowers especially when they are made with Cheery Lynn dies. I so enjoy making them myself. For today's card I used two different collections by Maja Design and two amazing dies to make the flowers on my card.
The color palette is like my latest layout I made for Maja Design that was posted on my blog before this post if you click here => Amy's Pretty Papers <= you can see more of my work.
For this card I used a bunch of products from the Craft Addiction webshop where I have a spot on their DT

Smile:
The color palette I used is black and white plus one, but for this card I added two colors orange and green for the leaves because in my opinion leaves are supposed to be green. I cut my B312 - Burlap Border in uneven strips to make the card more shabby chic and placed them behind my flower like I did with the leaf dies. At the end I added a pretty dot stamp and some cute feathers.

Time to Dream Layout for ***Maja Design*** and playing at ***More Than Words***!

Goodmorning lovelies,
I love my Maja Design papers so much that I find them a blessing to work with. Lately I am totally into baby layouts really don't know why the only thing I can think of that babies are so stinking cute....for this layout I wanted to highlight just one color extra besides black & white which officously is orange. I am not such a fan of that color but it reminds me of a wonderful time with our handsome son Kevin because one of his first words he said besides dad, mom and car was orange {still think that is so funny}...

Time to Dream:
I really love the black & white sheets in the Sommartider collection I always use them when I need a black or white peice of paper to create with. Before I started creating I firstly picked out the flowers I wanted to use {sadly my last black ones that I have} the orange ones are by 49 and Market and called shimmer & shine, the black ones are by Petaloo and the white ones are by Dusty Attic like all the chipboard is too.

With this layout I am going to enter in this months challenge at  "More Than Words" I really love this months color pallete black & white plus one mine plus one is orange as you can see above this was a real challenge for me because I find orange a hard color to scrap but because I get to work with the most amazing flowers there are in this industry it made it easy again. Here is the gorgeous mood board:
At first I cut out the middle part of the Strandmode bs sheet and stuck the Sommarens bild bs behind it, I also did that with the sunny side sheet from the "Nyhavn collection. Then I distressed the edges of both sheets and machine stitched on the orange sheet. Then I picked out hte picture I wanted to use. I treated my chipboard pieces with gesso and rust paste because it has orange in it to finish my layout I added some sidewalk chalk {white} spray by lindy's to make it a little shabby chic. I also added some shimmer spray by the same manufactor. The last thing I added are some orange glass beads and prills....

Sweet Little Memories Layout for ***49 and Market*** & Reminder Challenge #4 Butterflies for ***Craft Addiction***!

Goodmorning Lovelies,
On this second day of Easter I would like to show you another 12x12 layout made for 49 and Market and also for the reminder of this months challenge #4 butterflies at the Craft Addiction challenge site that you can find here==> "Challenge Blog" <==
For this layout I used two 49 and Market collections "Flower Fairies" and the beautiful NEW "Scents of Nature"collection oh how I love that collection. For this layout I totally went girly again which is right in my comfort zone. So glad my mojo is not having a break *grin*!

Sweet Little Memories:
First I took out thet darker purple sheet and cut out the middle part to later use for matting my picture. Then I took out my Martha Steward punch to trim the middle part {light pink piece} and behind that I tuck a piece of beautiful "Tresors de Luxe"lace. The butterflies and clock are from cut out sheet from the "Heirloom Botanicals" collection. The picture I used is from Pinterest thought she is so adorable that I needed to use it.

Later on I sprayed randomly with some inks but before that I stamped with a new stamp {designed by the amazing Gabrielle Pollacco}that I got in my last DT box from 49 and Market. Then I took out my Dutch Doobadoo Art Screens od Stars and added some paste on several spots on my layout. All the chipboard pieces I used are by Dusty Attic and treated with paste, pink acrylic paint and rusty powder/that you can also find in the store here ==> Craft Addiction Store  <== awesome stuff I am so loving it.

I love those Marianne Design Plakparels Metaal because they add so much to your work and as you know I really love to use metal on my work. The flowers are slightly inked with gesso and I sprayed a shimmer spray on the both flower clusters sadly you can't see that on the picture. I also stitched around my edges of my darker pink sheet to give it more demension.

My Charming Dude Layout for ***49 and Market*** & *** The Dusty Attic!

Happy Easter lovelies,
Today I would like to show you a more gruncy masculine layout, with my handsome son on the pictures. I think he is very photogenic and sometimes he will pose for me to take some pictures {lucky me} but most of the time he will hold his hand for his face and says NO mom just let me be, very frustrated but "hey" I am not complaining at all. For this layout I used two collections Heirloom Botanicals & Vintage Artistry, and a bunch of Dusty Attic chippies. What do you think about flowers on a masculine layout? I think they look awesome on any layout but they have to be gruncy, burlap flowers right?

My Charming Dude Who I love Completely:
First I cut off have a inch of The Report sheet from the "Vintage Artistry"collection and stitched around the edges. Then I distressed it and layered it on The Patch from the "Heirloom Botanicals"collection. But first I cut out the middle from the last sheet to use for matting my pictures and for the fishtail banner underneath my picture.

I treated all the chippies with gesso then rust paste and then added some forrest acrylic paint on some spots on the chipboard pieces. I also used two stencils with some crackle paste and my amazing lindy's stamp gang sprays for the background. I just can't NOT at metal pieces on my work so that is what I did here I added some hearts, a gear and some other metal pieces.

This layout is based on this months moodboard/sketch at "The Dusty Attic" blog, we would love for you to play along this month.....the prize is $100 worth of amazing chippies.

For this layout I used a long title but I didn't add it in the tittle of this post because I thought it was to long but the tittle is: "My Charming Dude Who I Love Completely"! The flowers clusters are treated with some gesso and forrest acrylic paint to give it more of a gruncy look.
